In Bedford over £1 million is spent by the council supporting services every year, the vast majority of which are in our rural areas which can be isolated if no public bus service operates. Over £2 million is also spent on subsidies for free bus travel passes.
Brickhill has an excellent bus service served by the Number 6 bus operated by Stagecoach and the Number 20 and 21 operated by Grant Palmer.
